FOR COURAGEOUS LEADERS WHO HAVE COMPLEX CHALLENGES TO HANDLE.
- You consider PLAY is a damn serious occupation, necessary to unleash the true potential of your business and your organization.
- Your topic is complex and multifaceted. There is a need to grasp the bigger picture, find connections, and explore different options.
- You want every person in the room to be heard, to be seen, and to be highly involved, 100% of the time.
- You are ready to invest time, energy, and money to grow your business, your organization and yourself.
- You embrace the following 4D mindset. DREAM. DARE. DO. DO IT AGAIN.
Then the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methodology is for you.
The LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Method (LSP) is a facilitated thinking, communication and problem solving technique for use with teams and individuals. It draws on extensive research from the fields of business, organizational development, psychology and learning, and is based on the concept of “hand knowledge”.
This method helps participants share complex ideas in a simple way. From the outside, it may look like just playing with bricks. But the structured process elicits deep thinking, compelling storytelling, authentic collaboration and problem-solving skills.
The LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Method is meant to create shared values in the team, and, as it is a hands-on activity, it will be saved in the long term memory.
The opportunities that we address with the LSP approach include:
YOUR BUSINESS. Unleash the potential of your business.
- Strategy development and implementation
- Business development
- Change management
- Mergers & acquisitions
- Turnaround & restructuring
- Operational efficiency
- Ideas generation
YOUR ORGANIZATION. Unleash the potential of your team.
- From a collection of individuals to a committed team
- From multiple job titles to a shared identity
- Combining individual capabilities and collective potential
YOU. Unleash your potential.
- Define your identity
- Own your strengths
- Confront your limiting beliefs
- Move from a default future to a created life.
Key principles:
- The answer is in the system. The complex issue has emerged in the system, and the answer can be found in the same system. The LSP approach helps the members of the system move to a new level of knowledge where the answer is constructed and expands the system.
- Anyone can use the LSP model. I am not a LEGO® building expert. It was actually my only concern when attending the facilitator’s training. And I did not see any advantage of being or not being one. All that matters is i) you have hands and ii) you are ready to play full out.
- It is not about modelling. The LSP approach is about constructing new possibilities. It is not about making a physical representation of what something looks like. It is about the story you are able to tell using the model.
- It is not about being right. This is about opening up new perspectives and a new field of possibilities, building on the talents of every participant.
A workshop based on the LSP materials and methodology varies in the number of participants and duration depending on the defined topic.
For groups: 6 participants minimum, 12 maximum. Ideal duration of 1 day. Min 4 hours, up to 2 days max.
For individuals: 3 hours
