You brush your teeth. You shower. You moisturize, put on make-up and a spray of perfume perhaps, maybe work out. You dress well.
Every single morning, without thinking about it.
But this morning, like most mornings and like billions of people, you will walk out the door carrying worry, stress and anxiety. From yesterday and the days before.
We all spend time, energy and attention preparing our body for the day. A perfectly integrated routine. A perfectly normalized system.
But what do we do for our mind ? For our heart ? To clean from the inside too?
It doesn’t have to be complicated. And it doesn’t have to be first thing in the morning either. Whenever works for you.
A few minutes of conscious breathing, in silence. A short walk without your phone. A few words of gratitude in a notebook.
There is no right or wrong. There is only what works for you. And whether you like it or not, it is necessary.
What works for me ? Anything that connects mind + body + heart at the same time. Yoga. Climbing. Hiking. The days I skip, I notice immediately.
