- Give yourself a hug.
- Hug someone you love.
- Disconnect. From work, your phone, social media, the noise in your head.
- Connect. With nature, with what truly matters to you, with your inner self, with good vibes around.
- Move. Even for 10 minutes. Walk, run, stretch, swim.
- Send a kind message to someone you care about but haven’t spoken to in a while.
- Dance. Sing. Laugh. Play. Have fun!
- Give yourself a treat ! (glass of wine, chocolate, ice cream). And don’t feel guilty about it !
- Say NO to what does not matter.
- Say YES to what does.
- Explore something new. A recipe? A route ? A perspective?
- Let something go. A thought ? A plan ? A belief that no longer serves you? An old story?
- Listen. Really listen. Bite your tongue if you have to.
- Practice imperfection.
- Celebrate ! Yourself, your successes, your failures and everything in between.
- Look yourself in the mirror and say out loud: “I am strong”, or “I am brave”, or “I am worthy” or anything that helps you shine in the world today.
- Write a note to your future self.
- Watch the clouds move, or the stars appear, or the wind in the leaves
- Say THANK YOU. To someone (can be YOU!), or to life.
- Do something with your hands. Draw. Paint. Cook. Garden. Build a Lego Tower.
- Take a picture of something beautiful. Just for you.
- Do absolutely nothing and enjoy it !
- Ask for help. Even (especially!) if it feels uncomfortable.
- Breathe. Deeply. Repeat.
- Name how you feel. And let it pass through without judging it.
- Say what you need. Out loud. Even if it is just to yourself.
- Make one small step that brings you closer to the realisation of a larger and joyful project.
- Slow down.
- Rest.
What if you pick one each day during summertime ? Just one. And you give it a try ? Can even be the same one every day, or a new one or one of your own. Who cares? This is your game.
